The people who basically came from Bangladesh before the independence received a small piece of land from the Government but while in the next generation 4 or 5 children grew up they had to move out of home. Then they came near to the railway line and set up their huts on the railways land. They have no legal rights over the land. But living there for last 40 years. We work at such 4 locations near 3 railway stations. There we build community infrastructure, like we introduce electricity, arrange drinking water, built community hall in which we run educational and cultural activities for the children. Since we run a project of all round development like, education, cultural activities like dance, Brotochary ( value oriented rhymes with physical actions), exposure visits, handicraft, sports and games etc. as child development activities, Health check up camps for the mother and the child, health awareness meetings, Self Help Group with the women for women empowerment. We call this project as Integrated Community Development Project.
